China's renewable energy power generation accounted for over one-third of its installed capacity
Chairman of the China Renewable Energy Society and the Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Tan Tianwei revealed here on the 10th that by the end of 2017, China’s installed capacity for renewable energy power generation had accounted for 36.5% of the total, and power generation accounted for more than 25% of the total, wind power, The increase in the area of ??solar photovoltaic power generation and solar thermal energy collection has ranked first in the world for many years. He said this at the press conference of the 2018 China Renewable Energy Academic Conference.
Tan Tianwei stated that the efficient, stable and large-scale application of renewable energy systems is inseparable from technological innovation. In recent years, some very important revolutionary renewable energy technologies have emerged, which play a key role in promoting the new energy revolution. He explained that the China Renewable Energy Society organized the 2018 China Renewable Energy Academic Conference with the theme of “Green Energy, Innovation Leading”. This is the first time in this field that China has held such a large-scale comprehensive academic in the past 10 years. The exchange meeting aims to promote the in-depth integration of relevant disciplines in the field of renewable energy in China, exchange common key technologies for renewable energy, and discuss relevant frontier technologies, especially subversive technologies.
It is reported that the conference will be held in Beijing on August 21-23.
